We Are A Multi Martial Arts Dojo In The Sand Hills.
Are focus on Mixed Martial Arts is a passion that has been shared by all 5 of our teachers.
Brian – Brian’s training has been in Krav Maga since he grew up in Israel and kickboxing. His training in kickboxing started when he was a child and after about 12 years of it he went into the armed forces in Israel. From there he started Krav Maga and quickly fell in love with it. Soon after he got out of the armed forces he moved here to the Sand Hills area where he started to teach with us.
Landon – Landon’s background is in Karate. He studied it when living in Japan for 5 years and continued to learn as he came back to the states. As his knowledge grew he has been highly sought after as a great teacher and trainer. Has had many students that have finished #1 in their divisions in many competitions.
Akio – Akio’s background is in Judo and Aikido. He does not teach it Aikido here at the Dojo (If you want to learn Aikido through him contact him for a private lesson). Akio was born in Japan and started with Judo when he was only 7 years old. He quickly excelled in the sport and won many tournaments. As he progress in the sport he started to be recognized by many others in his field. Soon he became an Olympic alternate for the Japan Judo team. After that he moved to the states to teach. Teaching others the art of Judo is the passion that Akio has shown again and again for the Sand Hills Dojo.
Amber – Amber is the Jiu-Jitsu expert here at the Dojo. Amber is the recipient of many awards including 3 place in the All Americas Jiu-Jitsu Tournament. Second in the Jiu-Jitsu World League and third in the Asian Open Championship. She is a Red/White belt (Coral belt). She has fought all over the world. Last year she decided to teach and came to us with a want to teach others. We were more than happy to have somebody with as much experience as her join us at the Sand Hills Dojo.
Chris – Chris’s specialty is in Muay Thai. He has a red belt in Muay Thai and has been teaching Muay Thai for the last 11 years. Chris has had many students in his time here at the Sand Hills Dojo that have gone to win many championships across the U.S. and even across the World. Chris’s goal is to have one of his students win the US Muay Thai Open within the next 5 years.
